Conditions certainly have changed in the Canal District through the years. Institutions have come and gone. Heck, there used to be, y’know, a canal there. What was once a Jewish enclave became a desolate den of lost opportunity before visions of restoring part of the historic waterway led to a boom in entertainment and retail establishments.
And now, more changes. A hockey rink is coming soon. Medical marijuana, around the corner. For Hitch, only one thing would make his enthusiasm dry up.
