Self-improvement in general is an enviable goal, and something it’d be hard to argue that we all couldn’t focus on a little more.
There comes a point, though, where you find so many flaws and theorize an endless conga line of solutions that you can twist yourself into a pretzel of indecision and poor judgment.
Hitch wonders if the city’s myriad attempts to pretty itself up have, indeed, taken a wrong turn somewhere.
