There’s a lot going on in the city. Many of the events don’t need our help in drawing a crowd, but some do. Here’s our take on some of this week’s most worthwhile events.

Sunday, Nov. 22 “Peking Dreams,” National Circus and Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China, 4-6 p.m., Mechanics Hall, 321 Main St.  Who doesn’t love a circus? Except maybe those tortured souls somehow creeped out by clowns; or folks allergic to giant pandas; or possibly you have a noise sensitivity; could be you’re just boring. Anyway, fine, I guess lots of people don’t love the circus, but hey, more elbow room for the rest of us to enjoy this spectacle of performance and entertainment from across the globe.
