There’s a lot going on in the city. Many of the events don’t need our help in drawing a crowd, but some do. Here’s our take on some of this week’s most worthwhile events.

Sunday, Nov. 15 — Holy Cross women’s basketball vs. UMass-Amherst, 2 p.m., Hart Center, College of the Holy Cross, 1 College St. Bill Gibbons is beginning his 31st season as head coach of the Crusaders. Thirty. One. Seasons. Whatever your opinion of him, there are many reasons that’s a remarkable feat. HC is coming off a 15-17 campaign, which included bouncing back from a season-opening six-game losing streak with an 11-7 Patriot League performance; and winning seven of its last nine. UMass hasn’t had a winning season in a decade, but had its most wins (for a 12-18 finish) in six winters in 2014-15.
