There’s a lot going on in the city. Many of the events don’t need our help in drawing a crowd, but some do. Here’s our take on some of this week’s most worthwhile events.

Sunday, Sept. 6  — Gift of Education piano concert, 4-5:30 p.m., Warner Theater, Worcester Academy, 81 Providence St. (enter parking lot at Dorchester Street)  Ashay Athalye and his brother, Anish, perform in this annual fundraiser to support the education of underprivileged children in India. The concerts are free, although the brothers hope concert-goers will make a donation to the cause. Donations go to the Support a Child project run by the VHP (World Hindu Council) of America.
